Female narrator

Thomas Clarke, also known as Experiment 1199, was a pediatrician for Playtime Co. who had first been hired in 1955. After being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he had willingly taken part in Playtime Co.'s Bigger Bodies Initiative to transfer his body into a Bron toy.

Appearance

Thomas Clarke's human appearance is unknown, but his 1199 appearance is somewhat similar to Bron's monster counterpart, as he has a dull tangerine color and is covered in dirt and blood. A huge chunk from his right snout has been removed along with his left cheek, and he has a huge gash on his neck, revealing either dark grey skin or fiber mesh. Thomas also has big-shot eyes surrounded by shadow, a feature that's missing from Bron's monster counterpart.

Story

Backstory

Thomas Clarke was born during 1932, two years after Playtime Co. was founded. 23 years later, he had earned an M.D. and applied for a full-time job as a pediatrician at Playtime Co. He was hired and worked at Playcare for 36 years. He witnessed Theodore Grambell being taken to the hospital after his failed attempt to escape the Playcare with the help of The Prototype. He also appears to have once seen The Prototype himself, but didn't know who he was. Clarke later talked to Joel Sinclair about this on the phone.

In 1991, Clarke was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer six months prior, leading to his willingness to volunteer for an experiment. The experiment was that of the Bigger Bodies Initiative and concerned the local Playtime Co. mascot Bron.

After volunteering for the experiment, he was accepted in as the subject. After the transferring had concluded, Thomas woke up in a small, broken Bron toy. Tests discovered he showed much more disorientation than the other experiments. Video showed Thomas worriedly moving his eyes around in horror. Due to this, methods of temptation were cut in half. After being put in the same room that the other experiments were kept in, the other experiments began to realize he wasn't an orphan, and that he worked for Playtime Co.

Thomas looked around the room at the other experiments; some toys big, others small, like him. After staring into the eyes of PJ Pug-a-Pillar, Boxy Boo's music box faintly played before Boxy grabbed Thomas, and his vision blackened.

The research team later discovered Thomas' bloodied body lying in the middle of the room on his side. His internal organs had been severely damaged, with the entirety of his larynx and thyroid completely devoured. They rushed him into surgery for stabilization, which took approximately 12 hours. After the surgery was complete, the team decided to keep him in a small containment cell away from the other experiments, to ensure safety.
