Genius is one of the nine perks featured within Project: Playtime. This perk allows the survivor to fail the puzzle without alerting the monster and doesn't reset the puzzle, it will show a orange glow on the button which can be seen on the Puzzle Pillars. This perk is beneficial for players who struggle with memory, as they may have difficulty memorizing the specific 8-button code.
