The Main Lobby is a location seen in Poppy Playtime, and made its debut in Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze. This area acted as a lobby that we spend the majority of the time in.

Accessing

Accessing the room requires the use of a Blue GrabPack hand, which cannot be obtained until Security is opened. To open Security, the player must first find a color-coordinated code on the train inside the Gift Shop and enter it on the keypad. Once inside Security, the player must watch the Grab Pack Training Tape on a VCR to learn how to use the GrabPack and retrieve it from a vent it was stuck in. With the Blue Hand in hand, the player can finally open the entrance to the Main Lobby. A long hallway leads to the entrance, and upon entering the area, the player can explore and progress through

General appearance

The Main Lobby serves as a central hub within the Playtime Co. Factory, connecting various sections such as Innovation, Theater, Cafeteria, and others. It is adorned with a prominent Playtime Co. sign, beneath which stands Huggy Wuggy, a popular attraction for visitors. Visitors can also read a description of Huggy and learn about the history of Playtime Co. Although the Main Lobby may give the impression that it is meant for exploring and visiting all the areas in the factory, only two of the rooms are actually accessible. Additionally, the room features several murals and cutouts around each doorway, each displaying a familiar mascot.

Trivia

  • Once The Player turns on the power, Huggy Wuggy disappears from his plaque and the spotlights turn on, shining on his empty stage, emphasizing the creepy atmosphere. Prior to this, despite Huggy standing on his plaque, the spotlights are turned off.
  • There are multiple windows on the dome ceiling, but only one is open and a small amount of sunlight is shining in the room, somewhat on Huggy Wuggy. The rest of the windows seem to be painted or covered in something black.
  • There are several boxes near Huggy Wuggy (not the cardboard boxes) containing Huggy Wuggy toys. However, one of the boxes has a Huggy toy that seems to be sitting down, with blacked out eyes and a large grin on his face which is showing his teeth. The teeth completely covers his mouth.
The evil Huggy Wuggy doll described.
    • It is unknown why this happens, although it does seem to be an intentional change.
