I'm rooting for you! Get it, root? Backrooms has not been given an official, canon name. So this, conjured name will currently be used until an official name will be revealed. Reason: There is no official name for this room, so "Backrooms" fit best for a room like this.

The Backrooms is a location in Playtime Co., which debuted in Chapter 2: Fly in a Web of Poppy Playtime. It is the room hidden behind Elliot Ludwig's Office and is entered to turn on the power for a specific door to the left of Ludwig's Office.

Assessing

In order to enter the room, you must pop open the ventilation system behind Ludwig's desk. You must then climb into the vent. After navigating through, you will be met with the Backrooms.

General appearance

The Backrooms is an abandoned room that can only be accessed by pulling off the vent door in Elliot Ludwig's Office. The room is walled with cement, and various items that are scattered along the floor. For example, boxes and sheets of paper can be seen stacked or laying across the floor. A large shelf with a power source can be seen, a Huggy cardboard cut out leaning on said shelf, a step-ladder, and a Bron cardboard cut-out can be seen on the top.

Progressing

Once entering the room, Poppy will make her first appearance within the chapter, pushing a box away from the ventilation system. She introduces herself, explaining how she has been in the case seen in Poppy Room for a long, long time. She then moves away from the second power source. Connect your GrabPack wire to the power poles and you can continue. Poppy then can be seen on the side of the vent we took to enter the Backrooms. You must go back to Elliot Ludwig's Office and follow her to the Game Station in order to escape the factory.
