Leith Pierre Closing
Leith Pierre Closing (stylized as Laith Pierre Closing) is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be first obtained when entering the Main Entrance. The tape itself plays a video of Leith Pierre describing the security system at Playtime Co. for anyone breaking into the factory.

The Green VHS Tape.

Plot
A tape initially meant to repeat overnight within the Playtime Co. Factory finally plays after The Player inserts the VHS Tape into the VCR. Leith Pierre's recorded voice makes a statement for any intruders that happen to break in during closing time. The tape serves as a purpose to encourage any intruders to leave the property by informing them of the security protocols.
Leith Pierre explains the many motion detectors, emergency alarms that instantly inform the police if set, and a final "tame" security measures if any intruder gets through the listed. Leith Pierre ends the VHS Tape giving any intruder his final warning.
Theorizing
It is heavily implied with the introduction of the Bigger Bodies Initiative that the "tame" security measure Leith mentioned was Huggy Wuggy himself. Huggy Wuggy was presumably created to watch over the Main Lobby while guests tour the factory.[1] Playtime Co. is heavily implied to keep this tame measure a secret, as after Rowan Stoll attempts to conclude the mystery behind why Huggy Wuggy makes consumers uncomfortable when on factory tour with the feeling of him "staring at them" perceived.

Yeah, we play this little tape on loop whenever we close the factory for the day. So trespasser, just to make you aware. While we pride ourselves primarily on our high quality toys and excellent childcare, we also pride ourselves on our security. Leith Pierre:For example, this facility is full of hidden motion triggers which, once set off, will turn on the factory's emergency alarms and directly contact the authorities! And that's one of the more tame aspects of our security system. No spoilers... Leith Pierre: So, you've got my warning. It's not too late to turn around. I just hope you're certain whatever you're doing is worth it." |
