Elliot Ludwig Biography is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 2: Fly in a Web of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be first obtained when unlocking Elliot Ludwig's Office. The tape itself plays a biography of Elliot Ludwig's early life and his life outside of Playtime Corporation.

Plot
A documentary dedicated to the beloved Elliot Ludwig plays as it covers how Ludwig founded and pushed through sad events within his life to create Playtime Co.
The tape introduces itself with a small piano tune as the narrator describes Elliot Ludwig as "Divorced, but a family man at heart." The tape continues by explaining that Ludwig had spent countless hours into his company to make his company one of the most well-known toy manufacturing company of all time.
After Ludwig faced a family death back in 1960, pushing him to his lowest, Elliot Ludwig continued to innovate his company to successfully fulfil his future dreams for Playtime Co. The tape explains that Ludwig never failed to abandon an unfinished project, but then questions how Ludwig was able to create his factory despite the odds. The tape cuts itself off before revealing the date Ludwig started forming the company the Player later investigate.
Theorizing
The tape specifically is vague when it comes to Elliot Ludwig's family death, not explaining if it was a child or parent. With this, fans have theorized that this family death was his presumed daughter who later went on to possess the Poppy Playtime we free in Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" however it is unknown if Elliot and Molly Ludwig did indeed have a child before divorcing.

Narrator: "Divorced, but a family man at heart, his sights were always set on bringing amazing toys to amazing children around the globe." Narrator: "Ludwig spent countless hours in the factory, working overtime relentlessly in an attempt to continuously innovate and surprise." Narrator: "In the 1960's, an unfortunate family death had pushed Ludwig down to his lowest." Narrator: "But with so much ambition, he rose back up and continued to fulfill his vision for the Playtime Co. toy factory." Narrator: "Ludwig could never be content leaving a project unfinished, but just how did one man come to create such an astounding empire?" Narrator: "How did he manage to stay determined, even after suffering such a tragic loss?" Narrator: "It all began in the faithful year of 19-" (The tape is cut out by static.) |
Trivia
- Elliot Ludwig's face appears to be censored in the recording, either with black boxes or blurring. The in-universe reason for this is currently unknown, but the out-of-universe reason may be due to the game developers using stock photographs and footage while creating the tape.
