The Vintage Poppy Commercial, otherwise known as The Most Incredible Doll or the Pastel Yellow VHS Tape, is a VHS Tape recording released on October 8, 2021. The tape can first be played after opening Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze. The tape itself plays an archived commercial for Poppy Playtime along with advertising factory tours. It is also seen with the note when the note has been displayed.
Analysis
The tape introduces with a man walking towards the camera, who we now know is Elliot Ludwig. Ludwig is seen proposing the new Poppy Playtime by showing the presumed publishing department an ad entirely dedicated to Poppy Playtime, alongside offering tours at Playtime Co.'s Factory.
A commercial for the Poppy Playtime doll commences. A female narrator can be seen describing Poppy and her entertainment features. Poppy Playtime gets her shoes polished, and later her hair brushed by request. As the narrator explains Poppy's realistic nature, Poppy exclaims that she is a "real girl, just like you".
The commercial ends with the Playtime Co. slogan before an unknown male narrator advertises factory tours in the Playtime Co. Factory for a mere $2.99 a person. The tape cuts itself off and ends as the narrator speaks.

Theorizing
Poppy Playtime stating that she is a real girl can be interpreted literally, meaning that a person may be possessing the Poppy Playtime doll. Fans have theorized that the family death heard in Elliot Ludwig Biography was his presumed daughter who later went on to possess the Poppy Playtime we free in Chapter 1: "A Tight Squeeze" however it is unknown if Elliot and Molly Ludwig did indeed have a child before divorcing.
Trivia
- When reversing said tape, multiple lines heard from Poppy can be scrutinized even though said audio is reversed.
- Lines like "Let me out" and "We all kill people". can surprisingly be heard, yet also could simply be coincidences by human error.
- Interestingly, despite the fact VHS tapes was not invented until the 1970s, the commercial appears to maintain an aesthetic from a prior time period, not to mention the fact Poppy Playtime would have been an over 20 year old product by the time of the VHS format's creation. One possible explanation is that the game universe may possibly have an alternative history to real life events.
