Security Camera: Rich + Avery
Security Camera: Rich + Avery is a VHS Tape recording found within Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze of Poppy Playtime. The tape can be first obtained when entering the Main Entrance. The tape itself plays a recording of a conversation between two employees unaware that they're being recorded.

Plot
The VHS Tape starts with two employees, later referred to as Rich and Avery, having a discussion while moving boxes throughout the Playtime Co. Factory. Avery asks if Rich knows where the Huggy Wuggy boxes are being kept, while Rich responds by questioning the last time Maintenance made a sweep of the area, which Avery responds unaware.
Rich makes his point and starts to aggressively complain that nobody in the company knows what they are doing. He swears he has never seen a box in its proper place, ever since the storehouse has been flooded with orphanage "junk". Avery blindly agrees with Rich about his opinions, as Rich begins to calm down and admits the program to being on-brand, before becoming aggravated again.
Rich complains again to Avery about how Manufacturing is always breathing down their necks and making it hard to be happy while working. After Avery tries to calm Rich down, Rich concludes by agreeing with Avery and that their work is important for the orphans. Rich only wishes there were less Huggy Wuggy boxes, wanting them to be more abidable. Rich then questions if abidable is even a word.
Theorizing
With the release of Security Camera: Rich in Chapter 2: Fly in a Web, the previous tape recording seen on the shelf in Chapter 1 was presumably shown to higher-ups within the Playtime Co. Factory and took action by sending Rich down to the Rejected Room to organize the rejected toy concepts. The whereabouts for Avery is still unknown.

Avery: "Ugh, Rich, where are they keeping the Huggy boxes?" Rich: "I don't know, I couldn't tell you! Remember when Maintenance last did a sweep of this place?" Avery: "No." Rich: "Exactly! Nobody in this stupid company knows what they're doing. I swear, I haven't seen a single box in its place since they started flooding the storehouse with orphanage junk." Avery: "Right..." Rich: "I get it, it's a nice program and all, on-brand, but" *sigh* "It's just hard to be happy when Manufacturing is on OUR NECKS about it, 'cause we can't find stupid Huggy boxes!" Avery: "Rich..." Rich: *sigh* "You're right... You're right... It's.. It's for the orphans... I just wish there were less boxes. Anything less would be more abidable. - I-is that even a word? Abidable." |
