The Rowan Stoll Recordings is a series of tapes that cannot be played or even seen in any area inside the game. It is exclusively downloadable on Rowan Stoll's Computer Database seen on his FTP server.

Analysis

Recording 01 (recorded March 30, 1991)

Known as "Rec_01" in the database, when unlocking and playing the video, an unknown man now known as Rowan Stoll attempts to catch the attention of Leith Pierre regarding the possibility that the eyes in the Huggy Wuggy statue secretly hold nanny cameras. Multiple tour guests complain that Huggy Wuggy stares at kids, and although seeming like a joke, Rowan believes that these rumors are true.

Recording 02 (recorded May 28, 1991)

Known as "Rec_02" in the database, after figuring out the passcode for each ZIP file and opening the video, Rowan Stoll is now seen backtracking on his previous statements, claiming he went to interview the Maintenance guy and the man simply failed to lock Huggy's eyes in place, causing his eyes to dangle. Rowan tells Leith that there will be no more videos coming from him. (Clearly, he found out about the Bigger Bodies Initiative)

Recording 03 (recorded July 15, 1991)

Known as "Rec_03" in the database, this is the final video Rowan makes, claiming that he is about to die. Playtime Co. is aware that Rowan is onto them, and have been continuously sabotaging him by taking away his pension and writing him up constantly. There was even an attempt to murder him four days prior. Someone loosened the bolts holding one of the tires of Rowan's car, causing him to nearly die from a car crash on the interstate. Rowan plans on running away and trying to survive, but not before releasing all the evidence he found of Playtime Co's experiments in one week's time.

Rowan plans on having the servers shut down for "maintenance" so that he can upload all of his findings. Rowan claims that Playtime Co. has something that eats people alive, and that he will be the next victim. He's also horrified of Leith Pierre, claiming he's someone else entirely compared to how he is normally. Rowan laments on the fact that he couldn't do more, despite his high level of access. He wonders if Playtime Co, hired him since he never questioned anything. Rowan ends the tape, urging anyone who finds it to bring the evidence to the police.

Transcript: Rowan Stoll: "Already just got- Oh I'm on! Hello Mr. Pierre! Um look, I know you don't want to hear any more about this, I get it. Um, sounds like a bad joke, Huggy Wuggy staring at children. But... look I'm filming this so... so I can hopefully prove what I saw. Look, if some... if some creep is hiding Nanny cams in our mascot's eyeballs, then something needs to be taken seriously. Uh, something dangerous is going on and I... I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, I'm sure it was just some big mistake, but... I saw what I saw. And... and I... I'm positive about that, and, uh, I know if you could see it too, I think you'll understand."

Transcript: Rowan Stoll: "Uhm, Mr. Pierre" "Um... Huh... I just wanted to apologize..." "I- Uhh... I was wrong! Nothing weird is-is going on here at all. See, I... Um... " Clears throat "I talked to the um... maintenance guy and he admitted that he had not done his diligence maintaining Huggy's.. Um... His eyes probably just... " Rowan Stoll proceeds to make dramatic sounds of eyeballs popping out of his eyes "Y'know? They just popped out of place. That- That must be what I saw." "So, umm... I- I'm done. I'm not looking into it anymore." "...I mean not like there was anything to look into in the first place..." "...But umm... You- That's in the past. You won't be uh... You won't be hearing anything else... Uh, from me." "So... Sorry!"

Recording 03

Transcript: Rowan Stoll: "...I'm scared, and I don't know what to do..." "I think I'm gonna die." "I had to pretend I've seen nothing so the company would leave me alone." "They- They took away my pension, they've- they've- they've been writing me up left and right..." "...Four days ago, somebody... Somebody tampered with my car— one of the tires, it flew off on the interstate; I nearly died." "For whoever's watching this, my name is Rowan Stoll." "I work for Playtime Co., it's a massive toy company. They made Huggy Wuggy, they've been using all of the money they made to experiment with people... I have proof of it all." "Next week, I've scheduled the companies... The- the servers, the security, to be shut down for sixty minutes of maintenance." "While security is out, I can release everything and run...I think they are going to kill me first..." "They have something that eats people alive..." I don't want to die— I thought Mr. Pierre was just confused, but he's someone else entirely." "I could have saved lives, I had access to everything, it's like they knew..." "...It's like they knew you- I would never question them. That's probably why they hired me in the first place." "...I'm an idiot..." "Listen, if I die, I've hidden everything I found on this tape— If you find this, take it to the police. " "Do not let them get away with this. Goodbye."

Decoding

During the hunt in Rowan Stoll's Computer Database, a letter written by Rowan Stoll reveals that he archived these recordings for his mother after initially recording the tapes for Leith Pierre. Within all three recordings there are hints hidden within them in order to continue the hunt fans experienced. For Recording 01, you had to combine all the letters hidden within Rowan's glasses reflection in order to unlock Security camera 01. For Recording 02, you had to write down the letters the AI voice said vaguely within the background to unlock Recording 02 and 03. For Recording 03, you had to use a spectrogram on the blaring static featured at the start of the tape.
