The Pre-Game Lobby is a map debuting from the spin-off title Project: Playtime. It portrays a calm and stationary train station that is used as a means of traveling to the Resource Extraction Specialists' next destination. Prior to starting the game, players are given access to the station's built-in arcade room and training course, allowing them to sharpen their skills while they wait for their fellow players to join the lobby.

Development

On November 18th, The Pre-Game Lobby was teased on Rowan Stoll's Computer Database through an image of the Playtime Express, which the players utilize to move around the Playtime Co. Factory. However, after the unexpected delay of Project: Playtime's release, the train station appeared as a dull and empty lobby with only blue artificial lighting and a locked door.

Initially, the train station served the sole purpose of waiting, but after Phase 2: Incineration was launched, it underwent a total renovation. Several new locations and an underground segment with multiple rooms were introduced. The train station was furnished with additional props and a new training course was added. As players made their way towards the Exit, they were introduced to the new training course, which included all the in-game features and an arcade room containing the Puzzle Pillar puzzles that can be generated on the pillars.
