Female narrator

RESTRICTED restoration.mp4 is a tape documentary that cannot be played or even seen in any area inside the game. It is exclusively seen on Mob Entertainment's YouTube channel.

The tape plays out as an employee named Thomas Clarke allows Playtime Co. to experiment on him after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer six months prior. Post-transformation, the employees attempt to leave him unattended alongside the experimented mascots before being attacked by them.

Contents

A restricted, edited tape documents a series of events regarding the transformation of Thomas Clarke after he agrees to partake into Playtime Co.'s experiments due to terminal lung cancer Clarke had previously been diagnosed with six months prior. A female narrator explains that after being transferred into a Bron toy, Experiment 1199 is documented to had experienced more disorientation than the employees initially thought. Clarke appears to be senseless, not remembering where he is and why he had been transferred.

The tape jumps to a third person perspective of Thomas Clarke after his transformation. He appears to sit in a dimly-lit room as he examines himself. He looks to the right to reveal Kissy Missy and a series of other smaller toys looking down at him. 1199 then looks to his left, revealing PJ Pug-a-Pillar staring at him along with other smaller toys looking at him.

Shortly after looking right, Boxy Boo's music jingle heard after exiting his box stage faintly is heard in the background. The sound gets more and more present until 1199 is attacked by Boxy. Playtime Co.'s research team quickly swarms the area afterwards to the surprise of 1199 laying on the floor as a puddle of blood surrounds him.

The same female narrator previously mentioned explains that Experiment 1199 undertook a twelve hour surgery as doctors swiftly attempted to repair the devoured contents of Clarke, specifically his larynx (voice box) and thyroid. 1199 survives, but he is unable to speak due to this surgery and resides in a separate room away from the other experiments.

Female Narrator:

"Test subject is 59-year-old Thomas Clarke, a full-time employee at Playtime Co. since... 1955."

"Six months ago, he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Now, Mr. Clarke of sound mind has volunteered for this experiment."

Unknown Employee:

"We have eye movement. Can you hear us, Thomas?"

Female Narrator:

"1199 displayed much more disorientation than we expected, subsequent mental testing metrics were also cut practically in half."

"It's just conjecture on my part, but I don't believe he knows where he is or what's happened to him. To make matters worse, the other experiments can tell that 1199 was...different."

Female Narrator:

"...They would have killed him had the research team not intervened and even then, there was significant damage to the internal structures with some of the anatomy."

"Namely the larynx and the thyroid having been completely devoured. It took twelve hours of surgery to stabilize 1199. "

"We keep him separated from the others now."

Speculation

It isn't directly stated why Clarke was attacked by the toys when being played in confinement alongside them, however the female narrators states that the other experiments knew that Experiment 1199 was "different". This can be interpreted in many ways, however fans of the franchise primarily believe that the toys attacked Bron because he was an employee for Playtime Co. Others believe that these toys in the confinement area were created as toys and later were given life, while Clarke was a human later given life as a Bron toy.

Fans also previously speculated that Huggy Wuggy was the one who attacked Thomas, however this theory had been proven false after hearing Boxy's musical jingle prior to the attack.

Gas Mask Spectrogram

An ear-piercing sound similarly sounding as if it were static plays after the female narrator finalizes her message regarding keeping Thomas Clarke in his own person confinement room. Fans would initially skip over this, however putting the sound into a spectrogram and adjusting the pitch to around "1006" reveals a line of text stating "Go to Sleep". Continuing to adjust the pitch will reveal the Gas Mask sitting right next to said text.

Trivia

  • Fans initially believed that Huggy Wuggy was the culprit behind the attack of 1199, however this theory had been debunked after fans discovered that Boxy Boo's musical jingle can be heard shortly before being attacked.
